Parents of student-athletes, As we work through the first few weeks of summer, please make sure that you are scheduling your annual physical for your student-athlete each year so that they are eligible to compete in activities throughout the school year. It is required that an annual physical is done and signed off for each student-athlete to compete in grades 6th-12th. We recommend that you do this over the summer and get it renewed now instead of waiting until the sports season is about to start. Dear Chester Area Parents and Community Members, The Chester Area School District has openings for two paraprofessionals beginning with the 2025-26 school year this coming August. These are hourly positions including benefits with the pay dependent on experience and education level. Minimum education level is a high school diploma with some post-secondary education and/or experience working with school-age children preferred. Chester will be hosting the SoDak 16 softball game on Tuesday, May 27th starting at 5pm. Please note there is admission of $6 for adults and $4 for students as set by SDHSAA. Good luck Flyers!

The district is looking for route bus drivers for the next school year. We are looking for a person to drive both morning and afternoon routes and/or a person to drive an afternoon route. The pay is excellent at $60 per route for 60-75 minutes per route, and a CDL is required. There is also an opportunity for extra-curricular driving such as to a football game compensated at $19.19 per hour.
